School/Achieving Goals

I am very passionate about school because many of the goals I have set for myself are dependent on my performances in school. Not a lot feels better than when you accomplish a goal you have been working to achieve for many years. I have known for a few years that I wanted to obtain my BSN from Penn State. In order to accomplish this goal of mine, I know it will take hard work, determination, and commitment. Because I am very passionate about this goal, I take school very seriously. One day, I will have that amazing feeling of accomplishing this goal as long as I get accepted into Penn State.

Sports

There will always be a passionate side of me that involves sports. Sports allow people to learn how to socialize, compete, and accept failure. I have grown up always surrounded by sports. Being an athlete has made me part of who I am today. I have learned the importance of teamwork, dedication, and hard work from being on the athlete side of the field. Along with the athletic side of sports, there is also a fan base side to sports. The fan side has taught me to cheer kindly, care about something, and be dedicated to something even when failure occurs. For example, I love Penn State football. If you know of this team or follow this team, the loss against Ohio State hurt this year. However, I did not stop cheering these athletes on even though I have no personal connection to the players. Sports have taught me a lot of life lessons, which will always cause me to have a strong passion for them.

Dogs

Yes, I am an avid dog lover. I am passionate about dogs because they teach people how to care for something. Dogs are also happy to see you even on a really bad day or even if you are not in a good mood. I have three dogs. Their names are O'Maley, Molly, and Bailey. I rescued Bailey in West Virginia riding four wheelers. I also have two nephew dogs named Kiesel and Mauti. They are both named after football players. Each one of these dogs brings happiness into my life with their unique personalities.
